Before You Book
What is Rooftop Saunas and what should I expect?
Rooftop Saunas is a lifestyle & wellness company bringing a contemporary sauna & plunge experience to rooftop spaces across London.
What to expect:
• Private sauna rooms – All cabins are available exclusively for private group (up to 4 people) and solo bookings.
• Private cool-down rooms – All cabins except the ‘Express’ include a private cool-down room (attached to sauna room) to refresh and be social.
• Cold plunges & waterfalls – Invigorating cold plunge pools (5-7°c) and waterfall buckets are available for all clients in the shared space.
• Refreshments – Cool-down rooms feature a mini-bar, complimentary tea & coffee making facilities and seating.
• Aromatherapy & skin care – A three-step essential oils and skin care botanicals process is available in cool-down rooms.
• Private showers – All cabins feature a private indoor hot shower with natural body wash, shampoo and conditioner.
Are the saunas private or shared?
Your sauna cabin is private—just for you. Other guests shouldn’t enter and vice versa.
Where are your locations?
Currently our locations are:
• Brixton – Sauna & cold plunge in South London
• Hackney – Sauna & cold plunge in East London
What are the opening hours?
Rooftop Saunas locations are open all day, every day.
Opening times can vary slightly per location—For exact hours, check out the relevant page:

How do I book a sauna session?
Bookings can be made made through relevant locations pages:
• Rooftop Saunas Hackney
• Rooftop Saunas Brixton
Or via the Client Portal page.
*Full payment is required at the time of booking.
How much does a sauna session cost?
Our private sauna sessions costs range from £11 to £60 per person at Rooftop Saunas.
Will my session still go ahead if its raining?
Yes, the sauna rooms and cool-down rooms are enclosed and have cover—Rooftop Saunas is one of the best things to do in London when its raining!
Can I book for a group?
Yes, our sauna cabins can accommodate up to 4 people per cabin.

Are gift cards available?
Gift cards are coming soon. In the meantime, you can book a future session and transfer it to the recipient, allowing them to reschedule at their convenience. More information is available on our Gift Cards page.
Gift Cards can be used to book at any date/time as long as the Gift Card ordered allows it*

Are there age restrictions?
Yes, Rooftop Saunas is strictly over 18’s.
Are there any health restrictions?
Please refer to our Health and Wellness section of our Terms and Conditions page for guidance.
Are pets allowed?
Dogs* and other animals are not permitted.
*Except for assistance dogs.
Booking & Changes
Can I reschedule or cancel my booking?
Yes, bookings can be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the booking via the Client Portal.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance of the booking are eligible for a full refund.

I can’t make my session – Can I transfer my booking to someone else?
Bookings are generally non transferable. However, in some circumstances we can help – Contact us and we will do our best to transfer the booking.

Do you accept walk-ins (arriving without a booking)?
Yes, we do, but we strongly recommend booking advance to avoid disappointment as we are fully booked most days.
Do I need to pay in advance?
Yes, full payment is required in advance of your booking to secure your session.
What if I didn’t receive a booking confirmation email?
If the email does not come through, please check your spam/junk folders.
The email will have come from Rooftop Saunas website and will be from one of these email addresses:

The only other option is if the email address has been mistyped. In this case send us an email or WhatsApp us asking us to double check.
*All our emails are sent securely, and are verified as being from rooftopsaunas.com at a domain level by SPF and DKIM.
Your Sauna Session
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive at the reception 15 minutes before your session start time, with your full party, so we can check you in together.
What should I bring to my sauna session?
• A swim-suit/bathing-suit.
• Your own towel: we recommend two—one for sitting on and one for drying off.
• For your feet, please bring sensible shoes to wear outside the sauna. The flooring is a mixture of wood and tiling, so bare feet is not advised. You can be barefooted inside the sauna and showers. Flip flops/slipper/slip on shoes would be best.
Do you provide towels or gowns?
Please bring your own towel (required) and gown (optional).
We do not to provide/launder towels and gowns – This allows us to keep prices lower (for everyone) and to reduce our impact on the environment.
Can I be nude? / Am I going to be expected to be naked?
No, full nudity is not allowed.
The duality of this FAQ is reflective of how it’s not possible to please everyone on this!
*Please also note that sexual activity is strictly forbidden.
Are there showers?
Yes, each private sauna cabin has an indoor hot shower.
Do you have changing facilities?
Yes, there are changing rooms toilets which are both unisex.
Each sauna also has space for changing and hooks for hanging belongings.
Is there anywhere I can leave my valuables?
Yes, there is enough lockers for everyone.
There are also hooks for hanging clothes within your private sauna room.

What amenities are included?
• Private Sauna Rooms – Exclusive cabins for solo or group bookings (up to 4 people).
• Cool-Down Rooms – Included in all but ‘Express’ cabins, offering space to relax.
• Cold Plunges & Waterfalls – Shared cold plunge pools (5-7°C) and waterfall buckets.
• Refreshments – Mini-bar, complimentary tea, coffee, and seating in cool-down rooms.
• Aromatherapy & Skincare – Three-step essential oil and botanical skincare process.
• Private Showers – Indoor hot showers with natural body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.
Can I take photos / videos?
Yes, personal photography is allowed with the permission of all individuals present.
*Please note: No photography or videography is permitted in changing areas, toilets, or within another client’s sauna room or cool-down room—Sauna cabins are private—Other guests shouldn’t enter and vice versa.
Do all cabins have a view?
Yes, all cabins have great views. Each location views obviously vary – You can check out the view on each ones location page.
What about food and drink?
• For ‘Sauna Experience’ and ‘Extended Sauna Experience’ sessions we have complimentary tea and coffee and also a jug of tap water.
• For ‘Express Sauna’ sessions, taps are available for filling your bottles etc.
*Please do not bring any food or drinks into the venue. If you would like to bring an empty reusable water bottle you can.
