1. General Health and Safety
1.1 Health and Safety Guidelines
a. You must adhere to all health and safety signs.
b. You must adhere to all the House Rules
c. If unclear, ask a member of staff for clarification.
1.2 Fire Safety
a. Fire exits are clearly marked throughout the premises.
b. In case of a fire or alarm, use the nearest exit and assemble in the designated area.
1.3 Accidents and Injuries
a. Report any accidents or injuries to the senior manager immediately.
1.4 Smoking
a. Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is strictly prohibited in all areas.
2. Behaviour and Use of Facilities
2.1 Behaviour and Attire
a. Clients are expected to behave respectfully and appropriately at all times.
b. Full nudity is not allowed
c. Inappropriate behaviour or attire may result in removal.
2.2 Crockery and Glassware
a. Crockery and glassware are not permitted inside the sauna room or near plunge pools unless specifically arranged.
2.3 Animals
a. No animals are allowed except for assistance dogs.
2.4 Follow Staff Guidelines
a. Follow all displayed guidelines and instructions from staff or management.
3. Personal Belongings
3.1 Liability for Belongings
a. Clients are responsible for their personal belongings. Rooftop Saunas is not liable for lost or damaged items.
4. Use of Sauna Heater
4.1 Temperature and Heater Safety (manufacturer guidance for Narvi Ultimate)
a. Maintain a sauna temperature between 60-80°C.
b. Be cautious around the hot heater as it may cause burns.
c. Do not throw more than 1-2dl of water onto the heater stones.
5. Photography and Videos
5.1 Personal Use Only
a. You may take photos/videos for personal use, but only with the permission of all individuals present.
b. No photography or videography is permitted in changing areas, toilets, or within another client’s sauna room or cool-down room.
6. Booking, Rescheduling, and Cancellations
6.1 Booking
a. Late arrival will reduce your session time, and missed bookings are non-refundable.
b. Rooftop Saunas has an over-18 policy (ID may be required).
6.2 Rescheduling
a. Bookings can be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the session.
b. Changes to session type or group size are not currently allowed during rescheduling.
6.3 Cancellations
a. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance for a full refund. For more information, visit our Rescheduling and Cancellations page.
b. Special cases for exceptions include emergencies, travel restrictions, or natural disasters.
7. Health and Wellness
7.1 Health Conditions
a. Using sauna rooms, cold plunge pools, and other facilities may not be suitable for individuals with the following conditions:
i. Cardiovascular issues (e.g., high or low blood pressure).
ii. Respiratory illnesses.
iii. Pregnancy.
iv. Any medical condition exacerbated by heat or cold exposure.
b. If you have concerns about your health, we strongly recommend consulting a healthcare professional before using our facilities.
7.2 Infectious Illnesses
a. Do not use any facilities if you have an infectious illness or condition, including symptoms of fever, cold, flu, or other contagious diseases.
b. Clients with symptoms of contagious illnesses must refrain from attending until they are fully recovered.
7.3 Client Responsibility
a. Clients are responsible for ensuring that they are fit to participate in activities provided by Rooftop Saunas.
b. Any unusual symptoms such as dizziness, fainting, or discomfort during a session must be reported to a member of staff immediately.
7.4 Liability Disclaimer
a. Rooftop Saunas is not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or adverse effects resulting from pre-existing medical conditions or failure to follow medical advice.
8. Liability Waiver
8.1 Signing the Waiver
a. All clients must sign the Liability Waiver before using any facilities.
8.2 Assumption of Risks
a. By signing the Liability Waiver, clients acknowledge that they assume all risks associated with the use of the premises and facilities.
8.3 Legal Binding
a. The Liability Waiver is legally binding.
